What to Expect
All leaders are “relational” leaders. This just means that our goal is to be in relationship with each of the teenagers who walk through the doors. That is the primary goal regardless of what other responsibilities you might have that night.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize your relationship with Jesus
- Show interest in teenagers' lives
- Be an example
- Keep appropriate boundaries (Ex. Only driving with two others in the car instead of one)
- Creating ways to engage teenagers on a weekly basis
- Be a part of the team (Communication)
Time Commitment
Arrive by 6:20PM and serve until 8:45PM.
Positions
- Relational Youth Leader
- Each RYL can serve in any of the various teams listed below.
- Check-In Team: assist at the beginning of the night verifying who is there, inputting the info into the database, and welcoming new families.
- Prayer Team
- Worship Team
- Small Group Facilitating
