What to Expect

Volunteers are needed to help with meal trains, serving funeral meals, card writing, phone calls, and potentially even visiting those in our congregation who need our support. 

Responsibilities

• Meal Train
  • Sign up to share your culinary talents, purchase a food gift card, or pick up an already-prepared meal from a restaurant and deliver it to the person and/or their family in our congregation who is in need.
• Funeral Meals
  • Prepare and serve funeral meals on an as-needed basis.
• Card writing
  • Write cards for birthdays, illness, or encouragement.
  • Postage and cards are provided.
• Phone Calls 
  • Touch base with members of our congregation as needed.

Time Commitment

Meal Trains ~ variable

Funeral Meals ~ 2-4 hours of your time

Card Writing ~ 30min a week

Phone Calls ~ 30min a week
